Postcards from Home

So you guys flew out yesterday and landed in London this evening. I hope it's fucking cold. Srsly. Freeze, bishes. Freeze.

Anyways, at Borders tonight I decided that I was going to write this blog and keep you up to date on shenanigans in Old Melbourne Town, new tunes, interesting photos, random gossip and so on. Let's face facts, I'll probably update once, but hey. Whatevs. It's a nice idea while it lasts.

So after you guys walked through the door, three things happened:
1. Tom and Jon turned to each other as asked "Will you be my friend?"
2. Becky and Steph made their mascara run.
3. Matthew Newton walked past.

This was quite a bit to take in, so I went with cuddling Steph as an immediate response. We hung around, chatting for about 10 minutes before the growed-ups decided to go back to Nuthall Manor and get wasted. Steph went her way, Dean and Becky went theirs and Tom, Bec, Gem, Jon and I went back to the silver stallion and headed back to Club Warrandyte. Tom took a wrong turn off the freeway and we ended up at DFO. Instead of turning around, a quick consultation and a unanimous vote meant that we decided to shop our sorrows away.

Cant find picture online. Keds, White. Tiny Gold stars. Sparklesational.

Anyways, suffice to say we all felt much better after that (shoes fix all).

I parted ways with the kids back at Club Warrandyte and went to the Moonlight Cinema for another screening of Twilight II: Vampire Boogaloo. Wine, cheese, Eliza and Stephie Shavin made for a pleasant evening. As did the collective "Yay!" when the jailbait werewolve deshirtified. Even I can appreciate that aesthetic. Also, no hangover this morning, even though E and I went through four bottles of red.

So I guess I'll try and think of something interesting to write for tomorrow. Maybe I'll get a guest poster on or sommat.

Hope you guys are happy and safe, love you lots.

Say Hi to The Globe for me.

What is "writing a blog" a euphemism for? I mean... the shady "I'mma go blog" sounds kind of like... would you close the bedroom door after you, and like... less noise, you know? Be considerate of your housemates.

Anyways, link up your blog for me honey. Going through gmail blogger is easy enough, and I'll find you a nice html to pretty it up with.
